Class Description

Canine Musical Freestyle

Objectives:  In this class, you will learn to the fundamentals of Canine Musical Freestyle.  This class will also help you to:

Ë       Learn technical skills

Ë       Choose the right type of music

Ë       Understand the rules of competing

Ë       Choose the right type of music for you and your dog

Ë       Associate moves with phrases

Ë       Put your routine together from start to finish

This class is held indoors.   

Dogs MUST not have aggression issues with well-mannered dogs.

Thursday, *Raleigh*, 7:30-8:30pm; Mandy Baker

Tuesday, *Raleigh*, 1:30-2:30pm; Mandy Baker

Intermediate Class:

Thursday, *Raleigh*, 12:30-1:30pm; Mandy Baker

Thursday, *Raleigh*, 8:30-9:30pm; Mandy Baker

• Once a week for 7 weeks

Beginner Class:

Dogs must not have aggression issues with other dogs. 

Pre-registration with pre-payment is required. 

Intermediate Class:

 Dogs should have taken Beginner CMF Class and be able to do the following:

1. 20 seconds of happy, attentive right & left side heeling, independent of food lure or hand targeting.   
2. Dog is able to take 5 straight steps backwards independent of food lure or hand targeting.
3. Dog is able to respond to basic hand cues learnt in the Beginner CMF class, i.e. left spin, right spin, shuffle, circle, tween, independent of food lure.
4. Dog has a full understanding of the 3 positions, heel, side, front.
