Teamworks Agility Events - Youngsville
Agility Event General Rules
- Spectator General Admission for agility events is free, but please leave un-entered dogs at home.
- Eligibility to participate in Show & Gos or Course of the Week: Either 30 hours of formal agility training or dog being run has earned a leg in agility competition or handler running dog has already titleed a dog in agility.
- Ring rentals are not available on agility event weekends.
- Pay-by-the-run Show & Go rates only available during Show & Go dates/times listed. * Buy an all weekend Show & Go family pass and play anytime Saturday and Sunday from 9am-9pm! (see event table below for Show & Go dates)
- Training in the ring at a Teamworks Show & Go or Course of the Week is allowed. You may use treats, toys, targets, and repeat a sequence. You may even go out and make up your own course (maximum time limit per turn in the ring is 3 minutes.
- Unsportsman-like conduct and harsh treatment of dogs is NOT allowed at Teamworks at any time. You may not do things that would get you dismissed from a trial like striking your dog, throwing things at your dog, polling your dog, or giving your dog a collar correction for not doing equipment.
- Chain collars are not allowed in the agility rings. Shock collars are not allowed on the grounds.
- Female dogs in heat are NEVER allowed anywhere on the grounds.
- Camping and RV Parking is available by pre-reservation only. Camping is $5 / night, RV parking (no electric) is $10 per night, and RV electric hook ups are $25 per night. Cars parking in reserved spots at an event without a reservation will be asked to move.
- Vendors may sign up online for agility events. The cost is $5 per day for non-electric and $10 per day for an electric hook-up.
- During an agility event, dogs must be on leash unless they are in a fenced area.

Agility Course of the Week:
Every Wednesday from 7:30-9:30pm, weather permitting. $5 per dog; one ring with nested courses, the other for equpment practice. First Wednesday of the month will be a Jumpers course. Time limit: 3 minutes per "turn" in the ring. Always call the agility weather hotline at 919-340-0120 after 5:30pm before you drive out. No course of the week the Wed before Thanksgiving, or 2 weeks between Christmas and New Years'. |
