Canine Good Citizen Out on the Town

Taking Good Manners Out in Public!

Goals: Congratulations! Your dog has earned the Canine Good Citizen Certification, so let’s put it to good use. The CGC Out On The Town class takes you to a different location each week to practice the CGC behaviors where it matters the most, around the general public. We will meet at parks, walking trails and shopping centers to expose your dogs to focusing on you while truly walking through a crowd, recalls at the park, sit/stays at the shopping center and the toughest one of all, sitting politely for petting.

Pre-Reqs:

Dogs must be BEHAVIORALLY HEALTHY and not have aggression issues with other dogs.

Dogs should have passed the Canine Good Citizen test with or without a Gentle Leader
(Take the Canine Good Citizen Evaluation)

Pre-registration with pre-payment is required.

Proof of vaccinations or titers must be brought to first workshop. Dogs without proof of vaccinations or titers will not be able to participate.

Tuition: $95

Duration: Once a week for 5 weeks;
*First week is orientation, without the dogs. Dogs attend the remaining 4 classes.

Class Max: 6 Dogs
