Therapeutic / Reactive Dogs Agility Class

Work Through Your Dog's Behavior Issues
Using Agility as a Therpeutic Intervention

Goals:
This class is for graduates of the Fearful Fidos & D ominant Dog Classes. This class is NOT competition-based, but is classified as "therapeutic agility". The idea is to give Fearful Fidos and Dominant Dogs a chance to get some exercise and encourage confidence & focus. Class sizes is limited to only 4 dogs so that each dog/handler team can gain some individual time in the fenced ring while the other teams work in adjacent fenced rings and outside the ring. There will only be one dog in the main ring at a time.

Pre-Reqs:

Handlers MUST have taken a Fearful Fidos or Dominant Dogs class first to gain confidence and focus skills in a classroom setting.

Dogs should be crate-trained.

Dogs should be at least 1 year old, of a healthy weight, and without health problems.

Pre-registration with pre-payment is required.

Tuition: $145

Duration: Once a week for 6 weeks

Class Max: 4 Dogs

Offered: Monday nights, Youngsville, 6:30-7:30 pm
Tuesdays, Youngsville,
1:00-2:00pm winter; 10:00-11:00am (summer)
